Location was just what we were looking for. The breakfast was really nice, and evening meals were delicious. Rooms were very clean and bed super comfortable, would certainly recommend and would definitely stay here again if we were in this area

The new diner menus suited both my wife and I , as we struggled with the temporary menus after lockdown. The quality of the food was excellent, as was the overall presentation on the plate, very professional. The room was fist class as was the hotel. The breakfast was great which was a surprise as the last time we were there ( September) breakfast experience was very poor, but I am glad to say that they have improved to a five star. The manager was very friendly as were the staff.

Modern comfortable rooms at the back of the main building so very quiet. The restaurant is cosy and the staff are lovely. Breakfast was excellent!

This charming hotel overlooks historic surroundings, The Royal Hotel and Bar provides comfortable, modern en-suite rooms. It was a great location, we stayed in the stables it was amazing the bed was super comfortable. The room was warm and had a great heater, the breakfast was great we had all we needed and more in the fridge down stairs public car park was just outside the gate.

Featuring a restaurant, bar and views of mountain, The Assheton Arms is set in Clitheroe, 22 km from King George's Hall. Lovely location in small village. Excellent room (deluxe double) in separate cottage. Cosy, welcoming pub and restaurant. Unfailingly pleasant, friendly and charming young staff.
Haighton Manor - Brunning and Price

Located in Grimsargh, 20 km from King George's Hall, Haighton Manor - Brunning and Price provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Perfect spot for a break from hours on motorways (M4, M5, M6 and on to Scotland). It's a few miles down some country lanes off the M6, but a world away from noise and bustle. Old building, carefully renovated. Room was small but more than adequate. Best bathroom in the UK. Seriously. We had dinner and stayed over night, but it would also be an excellent lunch break spot as food was excellent. Plan to return!

Beautifully appointed and comfortable room. Had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant- both wonderful. Would definitely seek this out again. Don't be fooled by the outside.

Superb room (modern furniture in retro style, amazing views from window, very clean), great location for a car trip, very good food and drinks at their restaurant (tried both breakfast and dinner). Really surprised by finding this gem!
