The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Our suite was perfect for our family traveling as it allowed the youngest kids room to stretch out. The beds were comfortable and there was free parking for us. There was a variety of foods offered as part of the breakfast.

Nice small town, I went during Autumn but most likely it would be delightful in the summer, at least is a lot of water around and places to enjoy a nice sunny day. Although stores and restaurants close very early, when we arrive around 9pm we only found a supermarket open and a bar which was a bit annoying because we were hungry so we had to buy some frozen food, luckily our hotel had a kitchen available for guest to use oven and microwave.

We spent three full days on the Bohuslan coast that were great. The scenery and natural environment along with what had been fishing and stone quarrying are a national Swedish treasure. Bring your binoculars as well as cameras if you can. Very child friendly. Harder to eat on Sundays however. Plan ahead as much as you can. Ferries for driving and passengers are wonderful, punctual, and free. Ours was a return trip after coming from the states.
This family run hotel may not be 'grand' in the luxurious sense of the word but it certainly has opulent charm and authenticity. I particularly enjoyed the library, which doubles as breakfast hall, and is open to guests all day around for (free) coffee and tea. The hosts made me feel most welcome and made time for personal conversation. The hotel is conveniently located for public transportation (bus; ferry) and within just a few minutes' walk from the stunning coastline.
Very friendly host, who told us lots about the area and Sweden in general. He even offered to go look for mushrooms in the forest adjacent to the house (although unfortunately we had no time for that in the end).
The house was supplied with almost everything you need, even kitchen equipment for baking.
Lysekil is a beautiful village next to the sea, with a lovely church and useful shops plus a nice square with an excellent playground and park.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at your spacious house! It was delightful, and we took the opportunity to explore Lysekil by leasurely strolling along the waterfront, We´re eager to come back in the summer. The many board games and the wide selection of movies available in the house were perfect for our entertainment. We had som great game nights!
It is a lovely hotel very beautiful situated so it perfect for the environments. It looks like it is a part of nature. The restaurant is glassed and therefore very pleasant to sit in. Well balanced menu and lovely to go out in the garden for enjoying the coffee. Quite close to the beach. Good parking possibilities.
Excellent place in a quiet side street of central Lysekil. Harbour, sights, swimming : Everything just a short walk away.
The room was in a chic modern design and spotless clean. Very much enjoyed it. The kitchen is also well equipped. Would recommend also for a little longer stays.
The property is just down the street from the main shopping area of town and walkable to restaurants on both sides of town. The room was spacious with high ceilings and sitting area. we had use of a shared kitchen that was stocked with food and supplies.
Super charming rooms and hotel, felt like we were in someone’s house which made it really cozy. The beds were the comfiest I have ever slept in, it was clean and tastefully decorated, and I love the homey touch of a real plant in the bedroom.
The hotel is very comfortable and central in Lysekil. Rooms offer sufficient space and are super clean. If you want to dive it is a very good option as it caters to divers with drying rooms, compressor station and everything you need.
What a great cottage, perfect & quiet location.
Everything is available in the small house.
Great trips to Lysekil (incl. seal safari), Smögen & Fjällbacka. We truely enjoyed our few days at Facerbacka.
Very charming and personal interior, with all the comforts that you need. We stayed in Lysekil for 3 days, and went exploring around the West Coast area. This was a perfect little apartment for us.
The most picturesque hotel I’ve ever been. We stayed at the yellow villa, rooms were lovely, bathroom is beautiful. Everything is perfect and the breakfast were great
Back to the 20s. An exceptional hotel. It does not always have to be top modern, one has only forgotten to get along without much comfort. Highly recommended.
A magical, beautiful, cosy, cute, stylish hotel situated right by the sea with lovely delicious breakfast, kind sweet staff & walking distance to everything!
